What is Urban Gamers?
Urban Gamers is a family-run mobile gaming party experience bringing the excitement of gaming directly to you. Our gaming bus is designed to give children and gamers an exciting, social and memorable party experience without the stress of organizing the entertainment yourself.
What age groups are Urban Gamers parties suitable for?
Our gaming parties are suitable for a range of ages and are perfect for children and young people who love gaming. If you're unsure whether our gaming bus is suitable for your child's age group, simply get in touch and we'll be happy to advise you.
How many players can use the gaming bus?
Our gaming bus can accommodate 10 players at a time, making it perfect for birthday parties and group celebrations.
What games are available?
We have a selection of popular games available for guests to enjoy during their party. Game availability may vary, and some games have age ratings that need to be considered. If your child has a particular favorite, let us know when making your enquiry.
Do the children need to bring their own consoles or controllers?
No! Our gaming bus comes fully equipped with the gaming equipment needed for the party, so your guests can simply arrive, get comfortable and enjoy gaming.

What is included in an Urban Gamers gaming party?
Your gaming party includes use of our fully equipped gaming bus for the duration of your chosen package, along with access to our selection of games and gaming equipment. Full details of what's included can be found on our Packages page.
How long are your gaming parties?
Party duration depends on the package you choose. Take a look at our Packages page to compare the options available and find the one that works best for your celebration.
Are Urban Gamers parties just for birthdays?
Not at all! While children's birthday parties are one of our most popular bookings, our gaming bus can also be suitable for other celebrations and events. Send us an enquiry with what you have in mind and we'll let you know what we can offer.
Do you offer corporate, school or special-event bookings?
We may be able to accommodate private events, school events, community events, corporate events and other special occasions. Please contact us with the details of your event so we can discuss your requirements and availability.

What areas does Urban Gamers cover?
Urban Gamers provides mobile gaming parties across Essex and surrounding areas.
As a mobile gaming bus, we can travel to a variety of locations. Once we receive your booking enquiry and the full address of your event, we'll check the location and calculate the travelling distance.
Depending on how far your location is from our standard service area, an additional mileage fee may apply. We'll always let you know about any additional travel costs before your booking is confirmed, so there are no unexpected charges.
Do you travel outside Essex?
Depending on your location, we may be able to travel outside Essex. Send us an enquiry with your event address and we'll check the distance and let you know whether we're able to accommodate your booking and if an additional mileage fee applies.
Is there an additional travel charge?
An additional mileage fee may apply to bookings outside our standard travel distance. Once you provide the event address, we'll calculate the distance and include any applicable mileage charge in your quote before you decide to proceed.

How much does an Urban Gamers gaming party cost?
Our prices depend on the package you choose and the location of your event. You can view our current party packages and what's included on our Packages page.
Additional mileage charges may apply depending on your location.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is required to secure your chosen date and time. Your booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
When do I pay the remaining balance?
Details of your remaining balance and when payment is due will be provided as part of your booking confirmation.
Will I receive an invoice?
Yes. Once your booking has been arranged, we'll provide the relevant booking and payment information, including an invoice where applicable.
📅 Booking Your Party
How do I book a gaming party with Urban Gamers?
Booking starts by completing our online enquiry form with your preferred date, location and party details.
Once we've received your enquiry, we'll check availability and your event location before contacting you with the next steps. If you're happy to proceed, we'll arrange the deposit payment to secure your booking.
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically confirm your booking. Your date and time are only secured once Urban Gamers has confirmed your booking and the required deposit has been paid.
What happens after I submit an enquiry?
Once we receive your enquiry, we'll review your party details, check availability and look at the location of your event. We'll then contact you with any further information we need and explain the next steps.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend enquiring as early as possible, particularly for weekends, school holidays and popular dates. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is my booking confirmed when I submit the enquiry form?
No. The enquiry form is the first step in the booking process and does not guarantee your requested date or time.
We'll contact you after receiving your enquiry to confirm availability and finalise the details. Your booking will only be secured once it has been accepted by Urban Gamers and the required deposit has been paid.
🚌 Preparing for the Gaming Bus
Where can the gaming bus be parked?
Our gaming bus will need a suitable and safe place to park for the duration of your party. Please provide accurate information about your event location when making your enquiry so we can check whether there are any potential access or parking considerations.
Do I need to provide electricity?
Yes. Our gaming van requires access to a suitable household electrical socket at the party location in order to operate.
When completing our enquiry form, you'll be asked to confirm that you have a suitable electrical socket available. Please make sure electricity can be accessed on the day of your booking.
If you're unsure whether your available socket or its location is suitable, please let us know when making your enquiry.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Our gaming experience takes place inside the gaming bus, so typical British weather doesn't have to stop the fun! However, in cases of severe weather or conditions that could make travelling or operating the gaming bus unsafe, we'll contact you to discuss the situation.
Do parents need to stay during a children's birthday party?
Yes. For children's birthday party bookings, a parent or responsible adult must remain at the party location for the duration of the booking.
Our team will look after the gaming experience inside the van, but the parent or responsible adult remains responsible for the children attending the party.
Does the parent need to stay inside the gaming van?
No. Parents don't need to stay inside the gaming van while the children are gaming, but a parent or responsible adult must remain at the party location and be available if needed throughout the booking.
Is food provided as part of the party?
No. Food is not provided as part of our gaming party packages.
You're welcome to arrange your own party food, birthday cake and refreshments separately for your guests.
Can food and drinks be taken onto the gaming van?
To help protect our gaming consoles, controllers and electrical equipment, food and drinks should not be taken inside the gaming van.
We recommend serving any party food, cake and drinks before or after the gaming session.
🎮 On the Day
What time will Urban Gamers arrive?
We'll arrange your arrival and party time with you as part of your confirmed booking. Please make sure there is suitable access for the gaming bus when we arrive.
What happens during the gaming party?
Once everyone is ready, guests can get settled inside the gaming bus and enjoy their gaming session. Our aim is to create a fun, exciting and memorable gaming experience while you get to enjoy the celebration without having to organize all of the entertainment yourself.
Can we request specific games?
You're welcome to tell us about any games your child and their friends particularly enjoy. We'll do our best to accommodate requests where possible, subject to game availability and appropriate age ratings.
